Level I and II Readiness Cost Survey

Adult and Pediatric Level I and Level II Trauma Centers (GTC FY2026 Contract Requirement)

The Level I and II Readiness Cost Survey will collect calendar year 2024 data from designated Level I and II trauma centers to assess the costs associated with maintaining 24/7 trauma readiness. 

Centers will submit their data to Warren Averett, an accounting firm. All data will remain confidential.

The survey will be due September 30, 2026

The last Level I and II survey, conducted with 2016 data, preceded significant changes, including the achievement of ACS verification by most Level I and II centers. Since then, most Level I and II centers have achieved ACS verification; what is the cost of this improvement? The CY2024 survey will also reflect the latest Level I and II American College of Surgeons Resources for Optimal Care of the Injured Patient (Dec. 2023 Revision) requirements.
