Application OPEN | FY2026 EMS Trauma-Related Equipment Grant

The Georgia Trauma Commission (GTC) is pleased to offer an FY 2026 grant opportunity to purchase trauma-related equipment for 911-response peak ambulances. The GTC EMS Committee has allocated $2,015,187.20 for this grant.

Funding Distribution

Download this xls file. ATTACHMENT A  provides a detailed breakdown of eligible grant amounts by 911-zone provider. The EMS Committee has established a minimum funding floor of $9,275.50.

  • 911-zone providers with a total calculated allocation (across all 911-zone counties) below $9,275.50 will receive the minimum eligible funding amount of $9,275.50.
  • 911-zone providers with a total calculated allocation (across all 911-zone counties) exceeding $9,275.50 will receive eligible funding based on the number of peak ambulances, at a rate of $1,777.11 per peak ambulance.

Download this xls file. ATTACHMENT B  provides a list of approved trauma-related equipment for reimbursement of planned purchase. Please review the approved equipment list carefully; some items from previous grant cycles have been removed.

If you wish to purchase trauma-related equipment not listed or removed, you may submit a special equipment request form for the EMS Committee review by using the following link: Special Equipment Request Form.

The deadline to submit a special equipment request is November 5, 2025

Please submit your electronic grant application by using the following link:

The deadline to submit the grant application is December 15, 2025.

 

You will be asked to upload your notarized equipment list affidavit ( Download this pdf file. ATTACHMENT C ) within the electronic application. Please complete your application on or before December 15, 2025. Late applications will be returned to the sender. 

Approved grant applications will be processed for payment within 60 days of receipt. We will keep you informed about the status of your application throughout the grant cycle.
