The Georgia Trauma Commission’s Applied Anatomy & Cadaver Lab is a hands-on, cadaver-based continuing education program designed to advance prehospital practice across all certification levels. Participants rotate through small group skill stations focused on airway management, hemorrhage control, trauma care, and advanced interventions.
Sessions are based on current licensure level, and each session is limited to 20 participants to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience.
Participants must hold a current Georgia EMS license and register for the session that matches their current licensure level. Participants must also live or work in Georgia to be eligible to attend.

The purpose of the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Grant is to support Georgia zoned 911 providers in delivering EMR training that builds foundational, life-saving skills within Georgia communities.
The Georgia Trauma Commission’s NAEMT/ITLS Course Grant Program provides funding support to Georgia 911 EMS agencies offering nationally recognized continuing education courses, including TECC, PHTLS/ITLS, AMLS, EPC, and GEMS. Funding is available for both 1-day and 2-day courses, with additional incentives for instructor development.
These courses are designed to strengthen trauma education across the state while supporting high-quality, standardized EMS training aligned with national best practices.
Funding is limited and awarded based on eligibility, course compliance, and availability.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Competitive Grant supports EMS agencies in delivering larger EMS training programs that expand the certified EMS workforce in Georgia.
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Micro-Grant is designed for agencies in rural or low-volume areas where a standard class size of 12 or more students is not feasible.
