RTAC Coordinator Contractor Position Open

The Georgia Trauma Commission is seeking a qualified contractor to fulfill the role of RTAC Coordinator.  With several exciting initiatives moving forward e.g., Stop the Bleed, ArborMetrix, ACS Trauma Systems Consultation, this is a great opportunity to have an impact on the entire trauma system.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance or other related field experience with EMS / Trauma System / Health Emergency Preparedness/ Crisis Management/ Injury prevention systems (relevant professional experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree of least 5 years)

o Experience in regional trauma systems development, oversight and performance improvement programs

o Experience in grant writing

o Experience in evidence-based research initiatives

o Experience in conference planning

o Knowledge of national EMS / Trauma Systems best practices

o Experience in system design, planning, development and oversight preferably for trauma systems

o Extensive knowledge of trauma clinical care best practices and public health administration, including related laws and regulation

o Ability to use Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word
