Pete Quinones
History
2022 appointed by the Lieutenant Governor for a 4-year term
Owner & Chief Executive Officer of MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service
Mr. Quinones has over 37 years of management experience in the emergency medical service industry. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology. As the CEO, Mr. Quinones is the Executive liaison for all contractual and operational matters. He provides executive management of operations, technology, finance, accounting, legal, and marketing activities. He designates individual responsibilities and management to his executive team and department managers.
Mr. Quinones is a board member of the Georgia Trauma System Commission and a member of the Governor’s Healthcare Task Force Commission. He is also a member of the Cobb Board of Health. Mr. Quinones is a board member of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, as well as a board member for the Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller School of Business.
Mr. Quinones has been awarded the Graduate Alumni “Award of Distinction” from the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Sam Olens’ Attorney General “Community Award,” and the prestigious James B. O’Neal “Pioneer in EMS” Award. In addition, Mr. Quinones was awarded the AARSB “National Leadership” Award and the “Distinguished Service Award” from WellStar Health System.
